In this episode, we discuss Family Law Mediation. In many states, mediation is ordered by the court automatically in divorce and child custody cases. The parties will meet with a court-approved mediator to try to resolve some or all of the issues before the court, then report back to the court. We will discuss this process, some of the possible advantages, and the role of the attorney.
